Dr Roy Chan:
President, Action for AIDS
Dr Roy Chan founded Action for AIDS in 1988, a non-governmental organisation. AfA spearheads intervention programmes targeting MSM, sex workers and high-risk heterosexual men, it runs the largest anonymous testing service, provides funding and access to ARV, supports peer support groups and advocates against stigma and discrimination of persons with HIV key populations. AfA was awarded the W.H.O. Dr Lee Jong-Wook Memorial Prize in Public Health in 2010. In 2009, Roy was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Gold Medal by Royal Society for Public Health.


Corinna Lim:
Executive Director of AWARE
Corinna Lim is the Executive Director of AWARE, Singapore’s leading gender equality group. She has championed the rights of women for close to 30 years and has advocated on issues such as gender-equal workplaces, gender violence, and greater support for single parents, lower income women and caregivers of the elderly. Prior to joining AWARE as Executive Director,Corinna practised law for more than 10 years. She was also a co-founder and CEO of a technology business which services the legal industry. Corinna is the Institute of Policy Studies' 8th S R Nathan Fellow and has presented three public lectures on gender equality in 2021.
Benedict Thambiah:
Action for AIDS, People Like Us
Ben is a former Executive Director of Action for AIDS Singapore, where he helped promote HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and support for people living with HIV/AIDS. A founding member of MARUAH, Singapore’s first registered human rights organization (under Article 14 of the ASEAN Charter), he serves as a Board Director with Action for AIDS, an Executive Committee Member with Q-Chamber, and a Steering Committee Member for the Pink Lions. Ben currently works for a foreign entity covering public affairs and policy.


Leow Yangfa:
Executive Director of OogaChaga
Leow Yangfa is the executive director of Oogachaga and a registered social worker. He has more than 20 years of experience working in various social service organisations, including in suicide prevention, social service planning, and now supporting the LGBTQ+ in Oogachaga since 2013.
Yangfa's current role in Oogachaga includes providing LGBTQ-affirming professional counselling to individuals, couples and families, engaging corporate partners, conducting community outreach, volunteer management, delivering professional training, media relations, and fundraising.
He edited the anthology “I Will Survive: Personal LGBT stories in Singapore”, first published in 2011 as an e-book, and since 2013 there have been 3 print editions. He is veggie by choice, and a guncle (gay uncle) to 5 incredible young women.
Zuby Eusoffe:
Founder of The Healing Circle
Zuby Eusofe is a Certified Facilitator and Motivational Speaker. In 2017, she conducted a financial literacy program for underprivileged families & single mothers in a nonprofit organization. She is a founder and counselor at The Healing Circle SG, a safe-space for LGBTQ+ Muslims seeking to reconcile their faith. Zuby is also a published writer for Medium publications. She contributed as a writer to the book "EXHALE - An Anthology of Queer Singapore Voices," published during Pride Month last year. Zuby advocates for authenticity and embracing one's true self.


June Chua:
Founder of The T Project and Alicia Community Centre
June Chua founded The T Project together with her late sister, Alicia, in 2014, to meet the needs of the transgender community in Singapore. The T Project supports Singapore's transgender community by providing a holistic social service, including a temporary shelter for the homeless.
In 2018, Ms Chua founded the Alicia Community Centre, Singapore’s first drop-in centre for transgender people. The Alicia Community Centre complements The T Project’s work, focusing on providing transgender youth access to social support, trans-focused information and resources.
